Joining in the joyful anticipation of Christmas around the world, at Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi, marine life is also celebrating a warm Christmas season in a truly impressive setting.
Since mid-November, the homes of marine creatures at Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi have been beautifully decorated with sparkling lights, vibrant wreaths, and unique accessories. The standout feature is the over 3-meter-tall Christmas tree, placed more than 7 meters deep in the heart of the “miniature ocean.” This special tree not only creates a striking, magical atmosphere but also symbolizes a wish for peace for all creatures, carrying a meaningful message about the connection between humans and nature.
The Christmas tree is displayed in the main tank of the aquarium.
The “homes” of the marine creatures are adorned in vibrant decorations.
Not only bringing the Christmas atmosphere to the ocean’s “residents,” the caretakers at Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi also transform into “Santa Clauses,” preparing “underwater feasts” as a way to show love and care for their little friends.
Divers dressed in Christmas outfits bring special “gifts” to the marine creatures.
The “Santa Clauses” prepare a “Christmas feast” for the sea lion family.
A staff member is caring for the baby fish born at the aquarium.
Mr. Lee Hae Yeol, Director of Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi, stated: “We believe that the Christmas season is not only for humans but also an opportunity to spread love to marine creatures. Through the activities at the aquarium, we hope to ignite a love and appreciation for the ocean in the hearts of every visitor.”
Visitors of all ages delight in experiencing the Christmas atmosphere at the aquarium.
The Christmas activities at Lotte World Aquarium Hanoi will continue until December 31, 2024. Visitors during the year-end period will also receive special offers, such as Golden Hours and a 25% travel discount (up to 50,000 VND) from Grab.
